CPC has numerous wonderful opportunities for children to explore and expand their faith...

Little Lambs

We offer our youngest members (and their parent) a unique opportunity to gather one Sunday a month from 10:15 to 11:00 in the childcare room to learn about God’s great love for all of us. Children ages 0-3 and their parent(s) will experience a supportive community where they get to learn easy ways to teach their children about God using simple practices, songs, and activities.

Pre-School (Sunday Morning):

Preschool children learn in a more traditional classroom taught by an adult volunteer using the Presbyterian Church (USA) curriculum Wee Believe.

Sunday Morning Spiritual Formation:

We believe children learn in a variety of ways and we want to nurture those learning styles as our children learn about God and Jesus. Our children in K-12th grades meet most Sunday mornings in the Gathering Space (Lower Westgate) at 10:15 am. Children and youth will explore their Christian faith through the exploration of various Scriptures which are preached about in our worship services. Participants will engage the Scripture through a variety of activities including but not limited to drama, art, writing, games and technology. Children from the gathering space can be picked up at 11:00 am.

If you have any questions, please email Betsy Thompson or call at 292-2063.

Vacation Bible School 2020

Knights of North Castle Vacation Bible School: June 24th-28th

Please mark your calendars for June 15-19, 2020, from 9 am to noon for CPC’s “Knights of North Castle.” Children ages 3 (and potty trained) through those finishing 5th grade are invited to join us as we explore how to put on the armor of God. Children will take on the role of brave Knights and begin their quest each session by opening the King’s Book. Relevant music, exciting science, creative crafts, fun recreation, and memorable Bible stories will help kids discover different pieces of protective armor—the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation—at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God. This fun filled week takes many, many, MANY hands. Middle and high school youth as well as adults are welcome to join us in our fun adventure. Click here to register. Questions or want to volunteer? Talk to Betsy (email).

ClubCPC (Wednesday Afternoon):

ClubCPC meets Wednesday afternoons September through April. During this time, Kindergartners through fifth graders assemble at the church from 4:15 to 6:30 for Bible study, recreation, worship skills and mission projects, capped off with a family style dinner. Dinner is prepared and cleaned up by adult volunteers from the congregation. At dinner time, we are joined by the youth of the church as they begin their evening program. Click here to read more about our youth programs.

Children ages 0 to 3 (and not yet in the pre-school Sunday School class) and their parent(s) are invited to join the Little Lambs class. We’ll meet at 10:15 in the childcare room on the following dates:

January 26, February 23, April 26

Hope to see you there!
