Beyond Welfare
Meets Thursdays at 6:00pm in the Social Hall & Sarah Barlow Lounge. Beyond Welfare is an organization which works with people of Story County who are seeking to leave poverty. Their goal is that all families in our community are out of poverty and have satisfying jobs that pay enough money to take care of their families. They provide assistance with transportation, food subsidy, housing, job development, child care, advocacy, leadership development, and building friendships. New Birth Baptist Church
NBBC holds a variety of gathers here at CPC including their worship service at 12:45pm on Sundays, choir rehearsal at 6:00pm on Tuesdays, and Bible study at 7:00pm on Tuesdays.  Pastor Knight of NBBC holds office hours in Upper Westgate Conference Room on Wednesdays from 11:00am-8:00pm.
